James Campbell
Chief Operational Officer
James developed a passion for sailing at a young age, with his father building him his first Optimist dinghy. From there, his love for the sport grew, and he transitioned into competitive racing across Europe. A key highlight of his dinghy racing career was representing Great Britain in the 18-foot Skiff World Championships in Sydney Harbour. After studying at the University in Southampton, James left the UK to pursue a professional career on the water. Over the course of 15 years, he worked his way up quickly from deckhand to captain, gaining extensive experience cruising around the globe on superyachts.
In recent years, James has transitioned into yacht project management, based in Mallorca. Over the last five years, he has led a variety of high-profile projects, including the award winning restoration of a classic yacht, the optimization of a well known race yacht, and the overhaul of onboard systems on many other sailing yachts. Notably, he served as one of the project managers for the monumental 73-meter Coral Ocean refit built at Lürssen, which took place in Palma and remains one of the largest yacht refits the Island has ever seen. The project was recognized with awards following its completion.
When he's not been immersed in yacht projects, James enjoys an active lifestyle, particularly water sports, and feels fortunate to call Mallorca home for his young family— a true island paradise for outdoor enthusiasts..

David Ireland
Chief Financial Officer
David, wanting to follow in his father’s footsteps as a successful offshore racer took ownership of his first boat at the age of six when he swapped his pet donkey´s saddle for an International Cadet “Cocky Olly Bird.” Whilst he never actually took to sea in her many lessons were learnt about rigging and maintenance and when the time came to put those lessons into practice a newer and much faster boat was purchased. David went on to race Cadets in both national and international events before moving into match racing and then competitive windsurfing.
The day after finishing university David joined a boat leaving North Wales and set sail for what was to be a backpacking adventure around the world but upon arriving in Antigua he discovered there was an industry and a career to found on Yachts.
Starting as a deckhand David´s ambition quickly saw him rise through the ranks and he took his first Captains job at the age of just twenty-two. Over the coming years he worked on both Sailing and Motor Yachts choosing vessels that had interesting itineraries so as to complete the original goal of seeing the world.
After coming ashore together with his wife Lucy, he bought Deckers Uniforms, a then small business in Palma and built it up to an international brand with outlets across Europe and the Caribbean before selling it some 15 years later.
Being lucky enough to live in Mallorca he gets out on the water at every opportunity possible and enjoys Mediterranean living with his wife and three daughters.
